Support local agriculture

The Champlain Islands Farmers’ Market is a registered 501 (c)(3) non profit organization with a mission of building community and supporting our Vermont farmers to ensure local food is available for years to come and is accessible to everyone.

CIFM was established in 2005 and celebrates its 19th year of operation. The market is a direct farmer to consumer way for sales to be made and is the best way to shop locally and support our community. Investing in the infrastructure of our market supports farmers directly. Your donation helps out in big ways by helping us purchase signage and tools we can use at the market as well as safety equipment for parking and traffic controls. Most importantly of all, donations made to the market help keep our vendor fees low which amplifies the success of each farm. Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you at the market!

“There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace.” Good Oak, A Sand County Almanac.
